Hair patch basics

What is a hair patch?+

A hair patch is a non-surgical hair system made to cover a defined area such as the front, crown or top. Human hair is attached to a fine base, then the system is secured, cut and blended with the hair that remains.

Will a hair patch look natural?+

A natural result depends on colour, density, base, hairline position and the cut-in. The goal is not maximum density; it is a believable match to your face and existing hair. You review the finish from every angle before leaving.

Who is a hair patch suitable for?+

It can suit adults with a receding hairline, thinning crown or broader top coverage who want an immediate non-surgical option. A consultation considers the coverage area, available blending hair, routine, budget and willingness to maintain the system.

How is a patch different from a wig?+

A patch covers a defined part of the scalp and blends with existing hair. A wig covers the whole head. Both can use human hair and different attachment methods, but the right option depends mainly on coverage and how you want to wear it.

Is a hair patch permanent?+

No. A bonded system can remain in place between service appointments, but it must be removed for cleaning and re-bonding and eventually replaced. “Permanent” describes continuous wear in some advertising; it does not mean maintenance-free or lifelong.

Can I exercise, swim or wear a helmet?+

Bonded systems can support normal daily routines, including exercise and helmets. Sweat, water and Kolkata humidity can shorten hold, so attachment and service timing should match your routine. Follow the stylist’s instructions before swimming after a fresh bond.

Price and payment

How much does a hair patch cost?+

Hair patches start at ₹6,000 including fitting. Base, coverage, density, length, colour work and stock or custom construction affect the final figure. The price page publishes each starting price and provides an indicative estimator.

What is included in the starting price?+

The published new-system price includes the hair system, initial attachment, cut and blend. Regular cleaning and re-bonding are separate. Any repair, replacement hair or custom work is assessed and confirmed before the studio begins it.

How much does servicing cost?+

Routine cleaning and re-bonding starts at ₹1,000 per visit. Repairs and replacement parts are assessed separately. The monthly cost depends on service frequency and how long the selected base lasts in your routine.

Why do prices vary between bases?+

Each base balances hairline detail, ventilation, handling and durability differently. Fine lace or thin skin may prioritise realism, while mono or hybrid construction can prioritise strength. Coverage, hair length and density also change material and fitting work.

Can I pay in EMIs?+

EMI availability is awaiting studio confirmation. We do not advertise an instalment option until its provider, eligibility and terms are verified. Ask during the consultation and the team will explain the payment methods currently available before you commit.

Is the consultation free?+

The current studio configuration marks the 45-minute consultation as free. It is a private conversation about coverage, routine, options and likely price. Any change to the consultation fee will be reflected across the site.

Fitting and servicing

How long does fitting take?+

A standard fitting takes about 2 hours. That includes preparing the agreed area, positioning and attaching the system, then cutting and blending it while you wear it. A custom or complex fitting may need longer.

How often is servicing needed?+

Most bonded systems need professional cleaning and re-bonding every 3–4 weeks. Sweat, oily skin, exercise, Kolkata heat and monsoon humidity can shorten the interval. Book earlier if edges lift, residue appears or the scalp feels uncomfortable.

Do you service patches bought elsewhere?+

Yes. The studios clean, re-bond, assess repairs and restyle systems from any brand, another studio or an online seller. Bring any base information you have, although the stylist can assess the likely construction if you are unsure.

What happens on fitting day?+

The stylist checks colour, density, base and hairline against the agreed plan. The coverage area is prepared, the system is attached, and the hair is cut and blended. You review the result before receiving washing and aftercare guidance.

How long does a hair patch last?+

Typical life depends on the base and care. Delicate skin and lace favour a fine finish; mono and hybrid constructions generally favour durability. The published ranges are planning guides rather than guarantees because handling, heat, products and service timing differ.

Can a damaged patch be repaired?+

Small tears, perimeter wear or limited shedding may be repairable. Widespread shedding, stretching or repeated tears can make replacement better value. The team inspects the system first and explains the practical option and price before beginning work.

Privacy and photos

Is the consultation private?+

Yes. Consultation answers and optional photos are intended only for the stylists assessing your request. Studio visits are booked privately, and you can ask questions without agreeing to a fitting. Contact details are used to respond about your enquiry.

Do I have to send photos?+

No. Photos are optional, although front, top and crown views in daylight can help an online assessment. You can skip them and begin with a conversation. Consultation images are not treated as marketing material or public results.

Will my photos be posted online?+

Not without separate written consent. Consultation permission is not publication permission. If you agree to a result being shared, you choose whether your face is visible or blurred, and the consent record is stored with the image or video.

Can I withdraw photo consent?+

Yes. You can withdraw publication consent at any time through the studio’s confirmed contact channels. The studio will stop future use and remove material it controls, while explaining any practical limits for copies already shared or indexed elsewhere.

How long are consultation photos kept?+

The proposed deletion period for photos from consultations that do not go ahead is 90 days. This period and the operational deletion process are still awaiting legal review. You may also ask for access or deletion through the contact details on the site.

Are before-and-after results verified?+

The results page publishes only work recorded in the studio’s results configuration and shared with written consent. Editorial style photographs elsewhere on the site are clearly treated as references, never as client outcomes or proof of a fitting.
